"Future Engineers": Drone Football Competition
At the Alpomish Ice Palace, one of the aviation engineering competitions — "Drone Football" — is underway. Teams of 3 (1 attacker and 2 defenders) compete against one another.
"Drone Football" is a team sport played on a special 360°-protected field, where the game is conducted using drones. The competition takes place on a 6×3×3-meter field, and a goal is scored when the drone, acting as the "ball," passes through a ring-shaped goal with a 40 cm diameter.
Each match consists of 2 periods, with each period lasting 3 minutes. The competition demands precise control, quick decision-making, and strong teamwork from the participants.
